COVID-19 RISK ASSESSMENT

Since we are now ‘living with Covid’ and all government restrictions have been lifted, there will be now be a return to some normality on driving lessons.  Please be aware of the following:

  • Although there is no legal requirement to isolate if you have Covid, before the lesson, if you have any symptoms, it would still be safer for us both if you cancel your lesson.  This can be at short notice and will not be charged as such.

  • Please continue to maintain good hygiene in regards to washing hands and covering your mouth and nose if sneezing and coughing.

  • There is no requirement to wear masks in lessons but you can continue if you wish.  If you would prefer me to wear a mask, please let me know.  Face coverings are still required for your practical test at the moment and until the DVSA changes their current Covid regulations.

  • The car’s windows will remain open throughout lessons to enable good air circulation so be prepared to dress warm in inclement weather.

  • Free lateral flow tests will no longer be available from April so there is no requirement for you to test before your lesson.  Please continue to use a test if you have symptoms and on the day of your practical test.

  • I have had my vaccinations against Covid-19 and advise you to do the same as soon as you can.

  • I will continue to clean the vehicle’s touch points between lessons as I did before Covid.

  • To avoid the handling of money, please make payments by bank transfer on or before the day of your lesson.  Details are below.

Many thanks for your continued support in maintaining the safest environment for your lessons.
